My father has had a fall, and because of the dialysis medicines, the internal bleedin in his cranium has become worse, causing a dnagerous midline shift and his Intra Cranial Pressure is also very high. I am leaving in a few hours to be with my mom and I am not carrying my laptop with me. I'll be available on mail via my phone.

We have been dealing with terrorism for a very long time, but this year the number of attacks and the sheer variety seem to be increasing. With them increasingly targeting civilian locations like hospitals some time back to hotels in the most recent attack, it will not be surprising if many of us will now have many changes coming in our day to day lives. All that is in the future.

I don't know how the killers think people will sympathize with them if they resort to such acts. I find it difficult to vent all my anger at the terrorists in English. To other Indians on the list, I know you share the same sorrow with me. This is not what our country is about and we know it. I am sure it hurts the rest of you in the same way as it does me, because we end up using so many resources combating terrorism and other such problems rather than spending the money on infrastructure or things like education and health care.

I expect a more coherent response once things settle down. Meanwhile, like always we will not cow down and live with severely curtailed resources and still manage to earn their living and help each other out and probably they do not understand that when something like this happens, they make us forget our regional identities and remember our national identity.

I mourn the country we could have been, I mourn the nameless people who have lost their lives over the years to the terrorists, I mourn the recent victims and I keep praying that it never happens again.

I come back from a Internet break and find many people on my flist into the dragons and so I went and signed up too. And aren't the eggs pretty?

In other news RL continues to be horrible I can't wait for this miserable year to be over. The working with my husband is working out so far. Lets see how it works out in the long term.

Tomorrow I'll upload a couple of vids; he is mischievous and thank goodness he is not an incessant barker, because he has a very loud bark.

I have been offline and will be for some more time. Pollywog had to be rushed to hospital from her school for asthma and we are dealing with her allergy issues right now. We expect she should be home this weekend and the Puppy of doom is also scheduled to make his appearance this Friday.
So I expect to be offline for some more time to come. I'll be around as soon as I am able to.
